FrankinBarb
Made from the 2009 Barbie Photo Fashion doll and some recycled Frank parts, Ive used FrankinBarb to experiment with pixel and low resolution photography. This collection of photography experimenting with both retaking images in this low resolution style and using this camera to capture the world around me. Additionally these images explore how low resolution photography has a juxtaposing effect of both creating a feeling of nostalgia and horror. For my generation more and more of the toys, gadgets and things we associate with are childhood are finding there way to charity shops, forgotten or being simply just thrown away, this inspired the name for the collection Pixel Wasteland.
